Looks great - watched all the videos. I'm a big fan of North Water products, I've visited their manufacturing facility and own a few of their items including one of their top notch throw bags.

This is the "theorhetical" part of me talking - The only thing about the horseshoe I wonder about is the shape. It tapers from thinner near the ends to thick near the middle which if you don't grab it good makes you more likely or easier to slip off. I'm wondering if it was a more consistent thickness if that would make it easier to hoist yourself up onto or if they had some notches perhaps where your arms could go or something like that as far as being easier to hold yourself up there. The bottom line is I need to try one.

Any chance North Water would lend us one to try out? Not so much interested in watching it inflate but an inflated one already that we can float down a lazy river to try?

Some good info in this thread I started over on the buzz (wh2ogrizz is Chris Armstrong who helped develop it - he's an SAR professional and I believe it's him in the RSS videos on the Northwater website): http://www.mountainbuzz.com/forums/f41/rapid-survival-system-72802.html
